Endeavors staff

We’ve begun the next chapter in our #GivingBack program, as we kick off 2021 with a wonderful slate of nonprofits coming on board for RBLP certification. Today we’re happy to announce that the staff of Endeavors will receive leadership certifications from RBLP’s team.

The organization provides comprehensive, effective, and innovative services that encourage growth, allowing people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Endeavors’ mission is to unify families and communities torn apart by poverty, unemployment, or neglect by providing real, practical solutions and a path to earned income. Their work supports a wide array of programs and services for children, families, veterans and those struggling with mental illness and other significant disabilities.

Endeavors community outreach for familiesAmong the programs that Endeavors oversees are a variety of veterans’ support services, including three locations of the The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics, providing free, high-quality, accessible and integrated mental health services to vets and their families; emergency support programs including Disaster Case Management and Rapid Deployment, offering everything from emergency shelter to unaccompanied minor care in the events of natural disasters, crisis or health emergencies such as COVID-19; and a variety of community services, from family housing for chronically homeless women and their children to Endeavors Unlimited, which provides housing, life skills training, and supportive employment opportunities to adults with disabilities. A new Veteran Wellness Center will open in San Antonio this summer; the Veteran Wellness Center began serving individuals virtually last fall.

The staff of Endeavors were instructed by Kanessa Trent and Jorge Ramirez, who volunteered their time to teach the exam prep training course.
