After you apply for certification and purchase an exam voucher, the next step in the certification process is to get exam prep training.
The exam prep courses offered by our Authorized Training and Education Partners are specifically designed to prepare people for the RBLP series of leadership certification exams. Our exam prep course curriculum is designed to “flip” the classroom.
Outside the classroom, students are expected to complete reading assignments and answer reflection questions about their unique leader/follower experience. Inside the classroom, instructor-led discussion of the leader tasks and supporting knowledge/skills relevant to each competency domain ensures that students are well-prepared to sit for the RBLP, RBLP Coach, and RBLP Trainer certification exams.
Applicants for RBLP certification must complete an instructor-led exam prep course of 3 modules.
Applicants for RBLP Coach certification must complete an instructor-led exam prep course of 5 modules.
Applicants for RBLP Trainer certification must complete an instructor-led exam prep course of 7 modules.
Our oral exams require significant preparation because they test your ability to think and respond in real-time. Unlike written exams, where you can take your time, oral exams demand quick, on-the-spot thinking and the critical application of knowledge. Clear and concise communication is essential, and preparation helps ensure that you can articulate your ideas effectively.
The interactive nature of oral exams also means that examiners can ask follow-up questions and challenge your responses. This dynamic requires a deep understanding of the material and the ability to defend your answers with confidence. Additionally, nonverbal cues like body language and eye contact can impact how your answers are perceived, making it important to practice delivering your responses with professionalism and confidence.
Oral exams typically require a broader and more in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Examiners may probe your knowledge from various angles, so preparation is essential for demonstrating conceptual clarity and the ability to apply knowledge to different scenarios. Managing time effectively and delivering well-organized, succinct responses are also critical in oral exams, which makes thorough preparation even more important.
The RBLP series of leader certification exams assess factual, conceptual, and procedural knowledge of the leader tasks applicable to building and leading resilient teams.
Examinees must demonstrate their understanding of factual, conceptual, and procedural knowledge via the following high-order thinking skills during the exam.
