Employer Education Benefits

Companies provide education benefits because it helps them hire and retain good talent. Upskilling employees is a proven and cost-effective way to increase organizational productivity and effectiveness.

Employer-sponsored education benefits typically pay for degree, certificates, and certifications. Under U.S. federal law, education benefits are deductible to the employer as a business expense and tax-free for employees up to $5,250 annually.

Taking advantage of a company’s education benefits allows employees to enhance their skills and increase their value to the organization at the same time.

Contact an HR POC at your organization for more information.
