RBLP Academic Advisors

So you’ve applied for your Resilience-Building Leader Professional certification. What’s the next step, and once your certification process has begun how do you make the most of your experience? Our Academic Advisors are here to help!

The RBLP Academic Advisors are part of our People and Program Development team, and are your strategic guide as you work toward acquiring your RBLP, RBLP-C or RBLP-T certification, and beyond.  They function much like an academic advisor would at a college or university: With the purpose of guiding our applicants through all the necessary steps to get started on their journey; to answer questions about all aspects of the process, from funding to exam administration; and to assist when the time comes for recertification.  The RBLP Academic Advisors are all about building the relationships that usher our newly-certified leaders into our worldwide community of practice.

Currently, RBLP has two Academic Advisors ready to assist you with any needs on your path toward Building Resilient Teams™:

Marina Rabinek, RBLP-T is a recently retired US Navy veteran based in Winchester, CA. Marina holds a Bachelor of Organizational Management degree from Ashford University, and during her time with the Navy she served as Senior Manager of Diversity and Inclusion for Cultural Programs, Human Capital Manager and Training and Development Manager. Her past roles also include Vice President of Marketing for VETS2INDUSTRY, a nonprofit offering career guidance to transitioning service members; and Growth Marketing Manager at Trinity Veteran, who support previously homeless veterans through essential goods and services.

Samira Searcy, RBLP-T is a recently retired US Army veteran, most recently serving as an Acquisition Officer with the Army’s Cyber Protection Brigade based in Evans, GA. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Post University, and previously held roles during her service as a Program Manager with US Army Intelligence and Recruitment Manager with the Army’s 40th Engineer Brigade. Samira is also certified in Business Continuity and Employee Performance Coaching, and hosts her own resilience-focused podcast called On the Bounce.
