RBLP

Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ (RBLP™) is for Front-Line Supervisors
Organizations need front-line supervisors that can build resilient teams. Building resilient teams that can work together to overcome adversity in a challenging environment is a core competency for leaders at all levels. Resilient teams are stronger together and they make organizational learning and change possible.

RBLP Application Requirements

RBLP applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

    • High school diploma or global equivalency plus (5) years of full-time leadership experience; or
    • Associate’s degree plus (4) years of full-time direct and/or shared leadership experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree plus (3) years of full-time leadership experience; or
    • U.S. Military personnel and veterans at paygrades E4 and E5.

Applicable leadership training may be considered as mitigation for up to 20% of the leadership experience requirement.

RBLP Certification Exam Requirements

During the 1.5-hour oral RBLP certification exam, the applicant is required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) in each of the following competency domains:

Create Positive Climate

Develop Cohesion

Provide Purpose

Applicants that pass this exam are awarded the Resilience-Building Leadership Professional (RBLP) certification.

Cost: $775

RBLP Recertification Requirements: Recertification is required every three years. Applicants are required to schedule and attend the RBLP Recertification Course conducted via video conference and pay the recertification course fee (currently $95) in order to keep their RBLP certification current.

RBLP-C

Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ Coach (RBLP™-C) is for Middle Managers
Organizations need middle managers that can build resilient teams and facilitate team learning. Demands for process improvement and innovation are commonplace. Adapting to change means that teams must learn new policies, processes, and procedures. Facilitating team learning is essential for problem-solving.

RBLP-C Application Requirements

RBLP-C applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

    • High school diploma or global equivalency plus (10) years of full-time leadership experience; or
    • Associate’s degree plus (8) years of full-time direct and/or shared leadership experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree plus (6) years of full-time leadership experience; or
    • Graduate degree plus (4) years of full-time direct and/or shared leadership experience; or
    • U.S. Military personnel and veterans at paygrades O1, O2, W1, W2, E6, and E7.

Applicable leadership training may be considered as mitigation for up to 20% of the leadership experience requirement.

RBLP-C Certification Exam Requirements

During the 2.5-hour oral RBLP-C certification exam, the applicant is required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) in each of the following competency domains:

Provide Purpose

Facilitate Team Learning

Applicants that pass this exam are awarded the Resilience-Building Leadership Professional Coach (RBLP-C) certification.

Cost: $1475

RBLP-C Recertification Requirements: Recertification is required every three years. Applicants are required to schedule and attend the RBLP-C Recertification Course conducted via video conference and pay the recertification course fee (currently $145) in order to keep their RBLP-C certification current.

RBLP-T

Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ Trainer (RBLP™-T) is for Senior Leaders
Organizations need senior leaders that can build resilient teams, facilitate team learning, and support organizational learning. Organizations stay competitive by growing their capabilities. Both organizational learning and change are hard to do. Supporting organizational learning makes change possible and enables competitive advantage.

RBLP-T Application Requirements

RBLP-T applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

    • High school diploma or global equivalency plus (20) years of full-time leadership experience; or
    • Associate’s degree plus (16) years of full-time direct and/or shared leadership experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree plus (12) years of full-time leadership experience; or
    • Graduate degree plus (8) years of full-time direct and/or shared leadership experience; or​
    • U.S. Military personnel and veterans at paygrades O3 and above, W3 and above, E8 and above.

Applicable leadership training may be considered as mitigation for up to 20% of the leadership experience requirement.

RBLP-T Certification Exam Requirements

During the 3.5-hour oral RBLP-T certification exam, the applicant is required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) in each of the following competency domains:

Develop Cohesion

Provide Purpose

Facilitate Team Learning

Support Organizational Learning

Applicants that pass this exam are awarded the Resilience-Building Leadership Professional Trainer (RBLP-T) certification.

Cost: $2275

RBLP-T Recertification Requirements: Recertification is required every three years. Applicants are required to schedule and attend the RBLP-T Recertification Course conducted via video conference and pay the recertification course fee (currently $195) in order to keep their RBLP-T certification current.
