Our mission at Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP) is to certify leaders in building and leading resilient teams in the workplace. Since our founding in 2018, we have issued thousands of leader certifications.
Why? Getting the work done can be hard in any organization, and sometimes, it can be really hard. Resilient teams thrive in challenging environments because they can overcome adversity, adapt, and grow together.
Leaders build resilient teams by creating a positive climate, developing cohesion, and providing purpose. Building resilient teams makes team learning possible. Team learning is the foundation of organizational learning and change.
Getting certified is a structured learning and assessment experience that improves leadership abilities. Earning a leader certification will introduce you to new ideas and concepts. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of leader tasks will instill a greater sense of confidence in yourself.

Where do RBLP certified leaders work?
RBLP is our core leader certification. This certification is for managers responsible for one or more team’s morale, teamwork, motivation, and commitment. People who earn this certification can build and lead resilient teams.

RBLP-C is our coach certification. This certification is for managers with organizational improvement, innovation, and problem-solving responsibilities. Managers who earn this certification can coach teams through the experiential learning cycle.

RBLP-T is our trainer certification. This certification is for senior managers with organizational learning and development (L&D) responsibilities. Senior managers who earn this certification can teach authorized training courses that prepare people for the RBLP series of leader certification exams.

We developed the self-paced, online Leadership Fundamentals Course specifically for college students. This course will make you a better leader and more competitive for internships and jobs.
This course introduces college students to 21 core leadership tasks that everyone entering the workforce should understand. Course topics include Creating a Positive Climate, Developing Cohesion, and Providing Purpose. Audio versions of the lessons and bonus video content are also included.

The Detroit-Dearborn MI metro area, primarily located in Wayne County, stands as a major urban center in Michigan, reflecting a significant historical and economic legacy. Part of the Detroit-Warren-Dearborn, MI metropolitan region, this area extends over approximately 612 square miles and supports a population of about 1.8 million residents, making it a vibrant nexus of culture, industry, and education in the state.
Geographically, the Detroit River delineates part of the boundary between Detroit and its international neighbor, Windsor, Ontario. The landscape combines urban expanses with smaller communities and suburban settings, which collectively contribute to the area’s diverse character. Detroit, known as the Motor City, serves as the heart of the metro area, with Dearborn located just to the west, recognized for its significant Middle Eastern community and cultural contributions.
The economy in the Detroit-Dearborn area is deeply rooted in the automotive industry, with the Big Three automakers—General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Stellantis—maintaining a significant presence. General Motors has its headquarters downtown, and Ford is based in Dearborn, where it also operates the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, a large outdoor history museum complex that draws visitors from across the globe. Beyond automotive, the area has seen growth in the technology, healthcare, and service sectors, diversifying its economic base and providing new employment opportunities.
Educationally, the area boasts several institutions that are critical to its economic and cultural development. The University of Michigan-Dearborn and Henry Ford College in Dearborn provide rigorous academic programs and community-oriented services which prepare students for various professional fields.
Culturally, Detroit-Dearborn is rich with venues and institutions that celebrate a wide range of arts and histories. The Detroit Institute of Arts is home to one of the largest and most significant art collections in the United States. The Motown Museum offers a nostalgic look back at one of Detroit’s most cherished musical legacies. In Dearborn, the Arab American National Museum provides insights into the Arab-American community’s history and cultural contributions, enriching the metro area’s diverse cultural landscape.
Sports play a significant role in the community life of the Detroit-Dearborn area. The city hosts four major professional sports teams: the Detroit Tigers (MLB) at Comerica Park, the Detroit Lions (NFL) at Ford Field, the Detroit Red Wings (NHL) at Little Caesars Arena, and the Detroit Pistons (NBA), who also play at Little Caesars Arena. The Detroit Riverfront offers scenic views and extensive walking and biking paths, while Belle Isle Park serves as an urban oasis with its parkland, zoo, and aquarium.
