Our mission at Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP) is to certify leaders in building and leading resilient teams in the workplace. Since our founding in 2018, we have issued thousands of leader certifications.
Why? Getting the work done can be hard in any organization, and sometimes, it can be really hard. Resilient teams thrive in challenging environments because they can overcome adversity, adapt, and grow together.
Leaders build resilient teams by creating a positive climate, developing cohesion, and providing purpose. Building resilient teams makes team learning possible. Team learning is the foundation of organizational learning and change.
Getting certified is a structured learning and assessment experience that improves leadership abilities. Earning a leader certification will introduce you to new ideas and concepts. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of leader tasks will instill a greater sense of confidence in yourself.

Where do RBLP certified leaders work?
RBLP is our core leader certification. This certification is for managers responsible for one or more team’s morale, teamwork, motivation, and commitment. People who earn this certification can build and lead resilient teams.
Exam prep course required | 1.5-hour oral exam
RBLP-C is our coach certification. This certification is for managers with organizational improvement, innovation, and problem-solving responsibilities. Managers who earn this certification can coach teams through the experiential learning cycle.
Exam prep course required | 2.5-hour oral exam
RBLP-T is our trainer certification. This certification is for senior managers with organizational learning and development (L&D) responsibilities. Senior managers who earn this certification can teach authorized training courses that prepare people for the RBLP series of leader certification exams.

We developed the self-paced, online Leadership Fundamentals Course specifically for college students. This course will make you a better leader and more competitive for internships and jobs.
This course introduces college students to 21 core leadership tasks that everyone entering the workforce should understand. Course topics include Creating a Positive Climate, Developing Cohesion, and Providing Purpose. Audio versions of the lessons and bonus video content are also included.
The course cost is only $145. Complete the course to earn a certificate and digital badge.
The Helena MT metro area, centered around the state capital, Helena, is located in Lewis and Clark County and encapsulates a region renowned for its rich historical background and governmental prominence. Covering approximately 5,115 square miles, this metro area houses a population of about 87,000 residents, with Helena itself accounting for nearly 32,000 of these individuals.
Geographically, the Helena metro area is nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Montana, providing a scenic backdrop of rugged terrain and natural beauty. The area is marked by rolling hills and broad valleys, punctuated by the Missouri River which flows to the north and east of Helena. The region’s geography makes it a prime location for various outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, which are popular among locals and visitors alike.
Economically, the Helena metro area benefits significantly from its status as the state capital. The state government is the largest employer, providing a stable economic foundation. Health care also plays a critical role in the local economy, with St. Peter’s Health being a major employer and a key provider of medical services not only to the city but to the broader region as well. Additionally, the area has a growing small business sector, with efforts to encourage entrepreneurial ventures and diversify the economic base.
Educationally, Helena is served by Carroll College, a private Catholic liberal arts college known for its strong programs in nursing, education, and natural sciences. The college contributes to the local culture and economy by hosting public events, lectures, and concerts that draw community members and students alike. Helena College University of Montana, a two-year college, also plays an integral role in the community by offering a variety of associate degrees and professional certification programs, focusing on meeting the needs of local industries and the public sector.
Culturally, Helena offers a vibrant arts scene and a deep historical heritage showcased through various museums and cultural institutions. The Montana Historical Society Museum, located near the state capitol building, offers exhibitions that explore Montana’s rich history from Native American heritage to frontier life and beyond. Sports do not dominate the local scene as Helena lacks major professional or collegiate teams. Still, the area enjoys various recreational sports and outdoor activities due to its mountainous terrain and natural landscapes. The community enthusiastically supports local high school sports teams, and there are several local and regional cycling and running events that attract participants from across the state.
Major attractions in Helena include the Montana State Capitol, which offers guided tours showcasing the state’s political history and stunning architecture. The Great Northern Carousel and ExplorationWorks, a hands-on science center for families, are popular destinations within the city. Nearby, outdoor enthusiasts enjoy Gates of the Mountains Wilderness, a famous river canyon on the Missouri River that is accessible via boat tours and provides spectacular views of cliffs and wildlife.
