The Resilience Building Leader Program is pleased to announce our latest nonprofit support relationship with Pangaea Enterprise, Inc., based in Oceanside, CA.
This terrific charitable organization aims through its outreach “to change the social stigma of mental health conversation among military, first responders, and their families.”:
“We are veterans. We are first responders. We are family. We are you. Pangaea Enterprise was founded on the idea that through communication and service to others, we can find healing. What truly sets us apart from other veterans’ mental health organizations is that we employ a resilience-based coaching method vice traditional methods of assistance with mental health. We understand what you’re going through because we have been there ourselves. Let’s progress together as a team. A family. Under the unity of communication.”
Pangaea offers a four-pronged approach to mental health through its CAST program, which stands for Coaching (working directly with the community on mental health conversation); Ambassadorship (volunteering with Pangaea); Scholarship (education); and Think Tank (scientific research into mental health.) RBLP are participating in the Scholarship arm of the program, which delivers opportunities through Pangaea for everything from high school GEDs to professional certifications, such as our Leadership Certifications.
In addition to its own programs, Pangaea does vital work with other groups such as Team Rubicon, the veterans service organization that uses disaster response to help reintegrate veterans back into civilian life.
As Pangaea Enterprises’s CEO and founder Justin Blue puts it on the company’s blog: “Your mental health is the cornerstone of your success and long-term happiness. Don’t allow a lack of planning – a skill honed over many years of service – take that from you. Never hesitate to reach out in search of mentorship.”
Taking care of our community is a core value at the Resilience-Building Leader Program. Our primary Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative is to provide RBLP exam prep training and leadership certifications to front-line leaders, middle managers, and senior leaders at selected charitable nonprofit organizations at no cost.
