It is our pleasure at the Resilience-Building Leader Program to continue our Giving Back initiative with some of the best non-profit organizations in the country. We are thrilled to offer RBLP Leadership Certifications to the staff of the Pink Berets, a group based in Boerne, TX who are doing critical work assisting women of the US Armed Forces and Veterans afflicted with invisible injuries to “experience a fresh perspective of themselves, their lives, and the act of limitless possibilities.”

Pink Berets group eventThe Pink Berets was established in 2015 by US Navy veteran Stephanie Gattas, who sought to create an organization specifically dedicated to the needs of women officers and veterans who struggle with conditions including post-traumatic stress disorder, military sexual trauma, combat trauma stress and more.  Through their efforts, The Pink Berets educate and provide relief not only to the women of the service but by extension military spouses, first responders and the medical community.

All of the Pink Berets’ services are offered at no cost, and cover a wide range of applications in their holistic approach to providing aid.  In addition to traditional individual, group and family counseling therapies, there are numerous activity-based programs including culinary arts; service dog and equine therapy; “Heart 2 Heart”, a retreat program for mothers and daughters; and many more. Currently, the Pink Berets have made many of their programs available virtually during the coronavirus pandemic.

Pink Berets experiential sessionThrough their efforts for the past five years, the Pink Berets have offered invaluable services to those service women still struggling through their core tenets of Responsibility, Integrity and Compassion: “The core embodiment of our organization is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere. Our organizational focus is to make a positive impact in the lives of our service women.”
