We are continuing a great roster of Giving Back initiatives here at RBLP in 2020, offering professional leadership certifications to outstanding nonprofit organizations at no cost. Today we’re thrilled to announce that we are offering certifications to the team members at VetJobs in Building Resilient Teams™

VetJOBS staff members

Established in 2004, VetJobs is the #1 online resource for military-affiliated job seekers looking to attain a rewarding career and maximize their earnings. Over the past 16 years, they and their sister sites have actively helped more than 63,000 military spouses, active duty military and veterans connect to high-earning careers.

All of VetJobs’ team are highly-educated veterans and military spouses themselves, who get to know clients personally to understand a candidate’s military service and skills in the context of the current job market. They then provide free job placement support with hundreds of leading national employers, tracking their progress along the way.

For candidates who need extra support when transitioning from military to civilian life, VetJobs have developed top-notch training, educational tools, career development resources and mentoring.  These include live webinars, volunteer training and programs such as SkillsBuild, which offers accreditation in areas such as customer engagement and web development.

The staff from VetJobs were instructed by Thomas Velasquez, Michael Martinet and Charles Steen, who volunteered their time to teach the exam prep training course.
