Impartiality Policy Statement: The Resilience-Building Leader Program’s (RBLP) Senior Leadership Team ensures that RBLP is operated in a manner that safeguards objectivity and impartiality in delivering certification services in a non-discriminatory manner.
1.1. Subject to limitations in this document, RBLP shall make its services available to all applicants whose application for certification meets RBLP’s publicly available criteria for certifications offered. Certification shall not be conditional upon membership of any association or group, nor is certification conditional upon training service providers. Certification services may be restricted without discrimination where there is an unacceptable risk to RBLP, such as (but not limited to) evidence of fraudulent behavior, concealment of information, or providing false information in an application or in an assessment process.
1.2. All RBLP personnel involved in the delivery of certification services shall act objectively and be free from any undue commercial, financial or other pressures that could compromise impartiality, and are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest.
1.3. RBLP shall not offer or provide any service that impacts its ability to be impartial. RBLP does not provide consultancy, or any other services that pose a risk to impartiality. RBLP shall not suggest that certification would be simpler, easier, faster, or less expensive if any specified person or consultancy was used.
1.4. Certification decisions shall be made by persons other than those who conducted the assessment.
1.5. RBLP monitors conformance to this Impartiality Policy through administration of its management system, including its process for managing risks.
